Fall Skincare

Fall is officially here which means the weather will start to change. Each season we must transition our skincare routine in order to help our skin look and feel its best. This month our estheticians, Erika Bradley and Keshia Cacal provide some of their best skincare tips for fall as well as an at-home body scrub you can make!

Exfoliation:  As the days become cooler, it can lead to dryer skin.  Increasing exfoliation can remove the dead skin cells that can cause break outs and congestion.  It’s also a great time to incorporate stronger exfoliation back into your routine.  Since we’re spending less time in the sun, now is the time to do a peel or microdermabrasion, or to add in an exfoliating treatment like Dr. Lancer’s Advanced Retinol Treatment which can work wonders on fine lines and discoloration.

Hydration:  During cooler months, hydration of the skin needs to increase.  Along with making sure you are drinking plenty of water, switch to a richer moisturizer.  Picking a moisturizer that helps boost hydration, while calming and soothing dry skin will keep your skin looking luminous.

Organizing Your Skin Care Routine: Fall is here! This is the time of year to organize your skin care routine.  With facial masking, facial exfoliators and other skin care steps, it can be hard to remember when you applied our last peel or your last nightly mask. Finding specific days of the week to exfoliate and mask nightly will keep your regimen organized and you don’t need to think about it! Also, your skin will thank you later!
